Souza Gets Quartered

With action being picked up on the flop with three players in the pot with a board showing AJ2 Murilo Souza bet 400 out of the small blind. David Katz in the big blind called, while Gordon Slutsky folded.

The turn was the 2 and Souza check-called the bet of 700 from Katz.

The river came the 3 to complete the board, and Souza lead out for 3,000. Katz then raised to 11,000 which was called by Souza.

Katz turned over A5542 for a full house, deuces full of aces and a low of five-four.

Souza showed A354Q for a straight in the form of a wheel, and the same five-four as Katz.

Souza ended up getting quartered, with Katz taking the high hand and the players chopping the low.
