Tantillo Lays the Trap But Falls to Quads
Niveau 18
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
The action folded around to Fausto Tantillo in the small blind, who limped in for 5,000 more, and Christoph Lovett shoved for 250,000. Tantillo snap-called for a little under 200,000 chips.
Fausto Tantillo: 10♠10♥
Christoph Lovett: J♠10♦
Tantillo was in a great spot to double up but was reduced to one out as the A♠J♥9♥ flop paired Lovett's jack. Another jack on the turn, the J♦, reduced Tantillo's outs to zero as he was now drawing dead. A bit of salt on the river for Tantillo as the J♣ improved his opponent to quads.
