Jeffrey Kurtz Eliminated in 18th Place ($15,730)
Niveau 28
: 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Jeffrey Kurtz opened from middle position and Nick Maimone defended from the big blind.
Kurtz continued for 125,000 on the 5♥3♠A♥ flop, but Maimone check-raised to 325,000. Kurtz then decided to shove for approximately 1,700,000, and Maimone called.
Jeffrey Kurtz: Q♦Q♥
Nick Maimone: 4♦2♦
Maimone flopped a straight to crack Kurtz's queens, and the 2♠7♥ runout didn't change anything. Both stacks were counted, and as Kurtz was slightly covered, he was eliminated.
