"DNegs" Loses a Little
Niveau 25
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu was in a hand with Addam Smith with the board reading A♠9♣2♣. Negreanu check-called a bet of 175,000 before both players checked the K♠ on the turn.
The river was the J♦ and Negreanu fired a tiny bet of 50,000. Smith appeared somewhat confused before flicking in the calling chips.
Negreanu tabled A♣5♣ but Smith revealed A♥J♠ for the better hand.
"You win!" Negreanu pipped. "Had the flush draw too," he added. Despite the minor setback, Negreanu is firmly in command with 75 players left.
