Limo Flops a Set
Niveau 12
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
No-Limit Hold'em
Nikki Limo raised to 4,000 from under the gun and got a call from the button, small blind and big blind.
The flop came 3♣J♣A♦ and action checked to Limo who bet 4,000. The button folded and so did the small blind, but the big blind raised all-in. Limo made a quick call and the cards were flipped.
Nikki Limo: J♠J♦
Big blind: A♠8♦
Limo was ahead with a set of jacks, and the Q♥ turn and 2♥ river didn't improve the big blind.
Limo got the double and sat with just over double starting stack after the hand.
