The tournament saw a whirlwind of excitement on Day 1 with 1,230 entrants vying for their shot at glory, contributing to a staggering prize pool of $3,284,100. The intensity peaked in Level 17 with the swift bursting of the bubble. However, for the returning players, a guaranteed prize of $7,567 awaits. Leading the pack at the end of the day was American Jake Ripnick boasting an impressive chip stack of 2,680,000. Close on his heels are Spain's Daniel Palau with 2,250,000 chips and Japan's Akinobu Maeda with 1,920,000, making for a formidable top three.
