Angelov Sends Opponent Packing
Niveau 8
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
A player in early position raised to 2,500 and action folded to Boris Angelov, who was at the cutoff.
Angelov, who had the raiser covered, made a three-bet to 6,500, which forced out the players on the button and the two blinds. The original raiser called.
The dealer fanned 7♥3♦2♠ on the board, and the player in early position checked. Angelov bet 2,500 and his opponent check-raised to 6,500, which Angelov called.
The 5♥ fell on the turn, and Angleov’s opponent announced an all-in bet, which put him at risk. Angelov snap-called and the cards were tabled.
Opponent: 10♠10♥
Boris Angelov: K♦K♥
The dealer placed Q♥ on the river, giving Angelov the knockout and pot.
