Ausmus Hanging in There

Niveau 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

After seeing his stack decimated down to 360,000, Jeremy Ausmus is proving he has alligator blood.

Ausmus got back on the upward trend with a double up with K6 through Patrick Leonard’s K5 and both hit two pair.

A few hands later, Ausmus used 83 out of the big blind to double up through Joshua Reichard, who raised preflop with K9. Ausmus moved all in with a short stack on the flop after he flopped a pair of threes, and Reichard called. Ausmus would hit 8x on the turn for two pair.

With more chips at his disposal, Ausmus was active again and raised 240,000 in early position. He received a call from Juha Helppi in the big blind.

The flop brought 24K, resulting in Helppi checking. Ausmus bet 125,000 and Helppi folded.

The pot helped Ausmus to push his stack back to 2,000,000, giving him some room to maneuver.
