Boat for Use

Niveau 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Miguel Use raised from under the gun to 16,000 and got a call from only the small blind.

The flop came KA4, and the small blind checked to Use, who bet 20,000. The small blind called.

The 2 turn saw the small blind check again, and Use bet 40,000. The small blind responded with a jam, and Use quickly called for his entire stack.

Miguel Use: KKAll in
Small Blind: AQ

Use was ahead all the way as he had hit a set on the flop. Only an ace on the river could save the small blind, but the river came a 4 to give Use the boat.

Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

Action picked up with Adrian Mateos on the button and involved in a hand against a player in the big blind and a player in early position.

The board showed Q827, which the player in the big blind checked. The player in early position bet 18,000, putting action on Mateos.

Mateos took his time, shooting a glance at the player in the big blind before focusing on the player who just bet.

The four-time WSOP bracelet winner then announced a raise with a 45,000 bet, resulting in the player in the big blind immediately folding. The player in early position, however, took a few moments to alternate glances at the board and Mateos before eventually folding.

Amir Rivers a Set

Niveau 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Before the blinds increased, a player in middle position three-bet jammed all-in after opening to 12,000 against Abdul Amir, who called from a late position.

Middle position: JJAll in
Abdul Amir: KK

Amir was ahead preflop, but the middle position player picked up a jack on the 5J10 flop to give them a set.

The 2 turn couldn't help Amir, but the dealer peeled the K river to put Amir back ahead.

Amir scooped the pot and the remaining player count reduced once again.

Jack Hardcastle was down to 10,000 after just loosing an all-in with A8 against A10 when a ten hit on the river.

In the next hand, Matt Glantz raised to 12,000 from under the gun and an early position player re-raised to 22,000. Jack Hardcastle was in the cutoff with 6,000 and moved all the chips into the middle.

Matt Glantz re-jammed for around 90,000 and separated his chips into a side pot, pre-empting the early positions fold. Early position said "you think you've got it" before folding his hand, and showing AxQx.

Glantz and Hardcastle went heads-up to the 875 flop, and Hardcastle was ahead.

The 8 turn paired the board but didn't change much for either player.

That was until the 5 came on the river and double paired the board. Hardcastle's fours no longer played and Glantz had the ace kicker to knock him out and scoop the pot.

Li Coming On

Niveau 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

A player under the gun moved all in for his remaining 81,000.

Action folded to WSOP bracelet winner Pei Li, who was in late position and had the all-in player covered.

Li asked for a count, and then called when the dealer confirmed the all-in amount.

Opponent: 88
Pei Li: AQ

The dealer fanned AQ5 on the board, giving Li top two pair. The K appeared on the turn, and then A on the river gave Li aces full of queens for the winning hand to send the opponent to the rail.

Li has steadily been on the rise over the past few levels.
