Ivey on the Hunt for Number Twelve

Niveau 7 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

A player in early position raised to 3,000 and was called by Phil Ivey on the button, fresh off his 11th bracelet win in the $10,000 2-7 Triple Draw, and Bart Hanson in the big blind.

The Q26 flop was checked to Ivey, who placed a bet of 8,000 chips. Hanson folded before the other opponent called.

On the 7 turn, Ivey fired 15,000 chip and was again check-called before the K river was knuckled by both.

Ivey showed A8653 for the nut low, while his opponent tabled AJ942 for the nut flush, and the two chopped up the pot.

Benyamine Finds a Chop on the River

Niveau 7 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Freddy Deeb raised to 3,000 from middle position and David Benyamine three-bet to 10,000 from the button. The big blind player cold-called and Deeb made the call as well.

The three players checked the 88Q flop to see the 6 come on the turn. This saw the big blind player lead out for 25,000. Deeb folded but Benyamine went deep into the tank, before eventually putting in the call.

The river came the 5 and the big blind player bet enough to put Benyamine all-in. Benyamine called. The big blind had AKQQ3 for queens full for the high, and an ace-three low. Benyamine showed AJJ32 for an ace-two low, resulting in both players chopping up Deeb's chips.

Alex Foxen was seen taking his seat a different table.
