After a couple of successive all in split pots John Cernuto was finally left with one chip from the small blind when Chen raised to 80,000 from under the gun and Cernuto tossed his last chip in blind. Lewis Brant also called from the big blind and they were off to a side pot.
The flop came out Q♣Q♥10♣ and Brant checked to Chen who bet 80,000. Brant called and the turn was K♥. Brant again checked to Chen who bet 160,000 and Brant called. The river was a 6♥ and when action was checked to Chen he bet 160,000 and Brant quickly called.
John Cernuto: K♣3♥5♣8♣
James Chen: A♦J♥6♦4♥
Lewis Brant: Q♠9♦7♠5♦
Chen's flush beat the trip queens of Brant, and with Cernuto's elimination, we now have our final table and players are being moved to the main table in the Horseshoe.
Curtis Phelps raised from the cutoff and got calls from Adam Nattress, Sovann Pen, and Pearce Arnold. Everyone checked to Nattress on the Q♠8♠4♣ flop, who bet. Three calls followed before the 5♠ turn was checked around.
Pen was first to act on the 2♦ river and bet. Arnold called, Phelps and Nattress gave it up.
Pen showed A♦7♦6♦5♥ for a 6-5-4-2-A low, Arnold tabled J♠6♥4♦2♠ for a flush and the two chopped it up.
Aleksey Filatov had called a raise on the button against Sovann Pen in the hijack and the two players saw the flop.
The flop rolled out 7♥7♠8♣ and Pen bet which saw Filatov call.
On the turn 3♣, both players checked to the river 2♥ and Pen checked to Filatov who bet, which Pen called.
Pen showed A♠10♦6♠3♦ for sevens and threes with an eight-seven low and it was good to take the pot from Filatov.
Action was picked up on the turn in a pot between James Chen on the button and John "Miami" Cernuto in the big blind.
With a board reading A♣K♣10♦6♣, Cernuto lead out which prompted Chen to raise and Cernuto called.
Cernuto checked the 9♣ river and called a bet from Chen.
Chen turned over Q♣5♣4♠3♠ for the nut flush and he took a sizable pot off of the bracelet winner.
A large pot between Matthew Aronowitz, Lewis Brant, and James Chen went to a flop of 10♦Q♠2♥.
On the flop Brant bet 80,000 and Chen raised to 160,000. Aronowitz then went all in for his 185,000 stack. Both Brant and Chen called and began building a side pot.
When the K♣ came out Brant checked to Chen who bet 160,000. Brant raised to 320,000 and Chen called.
When the 6♠ came on the river Brant bet 160,000 which Chen called.
Brant tabled his hand A♦A♥J♠7♠ and both Aronowitz and Chen mucked their hands, which were irretrievable by the floor.
On a Q♣J♥7♣ flop, Adam Nattress bet, Sovann Pen raised, Curtis Phelps three-bet, Nattress folded, Pen four-bet all in, and Phelps called.
Sovann Pen: Q♠J♠9♥6♦
Curtis Phelps: A♣9♣8♦5♥
Pen had top two pair but had to fade a plethora of outs. The J♦ on the turn brought relief straight away by filling him up and securing the double. Pen slammed the table in excitement.
Jamie Kerstetter raised all in from the hijack and Matthew Aronowitz three bet on the button which saw James Chen call in the big blind.
The board ran out 5♣4♣4♠10♠9♥ and action checked to the river where Chen bet and Aronowitz called.
Jamie Kerstetter: K♠K♦8♥5♠
James Chen: Q♠J♥J♠7♥
Matthew Aronowitz: XxXxXxXx
Chen's pair of jacks was good to take the side off of Aronowitz and Kerstetter tripled up in the main pot.
James Chen opened the action with a raise. To his left, Mathew Rego shoved all in for a little more and everyone folded to Chen, who called.
Mathew Rego: K♥K♣Q♠4♦
James Chen J♥J♦7♦7♠
The K♠9♣4♥ flop all but secured it for Rego, although the 8♠ on the turn brought a minor sweat with the gutshot.
The dealer burned and turned the 10♠ on the river to complete the backdoor straight for Chen and send Rego packing.
"Oh my God!" Jamie Kerstetter and Matthew Aronowitz blurted out.
