Bramley Doubles with Set Over Set
Niveau 27
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Action picked up on the river in a hand between Mark Bramley, in late position and Lindsay Jones, on the button.
With about 800,000 in the pot and the board reading 2♥8♥Q♠7♠K♣, Bramley checked and Jones bet 330,000. Bramley then came over the top and moved all in for 1,110,000 total.
The dealer counted out Bramley's stack, and after a moment of thought, Jones flicked in the call. He saw the bad news when Bramley tabled Q♦Q♣, for a set of queens, besting his 2♣2♠, for a set of deuces.
