Oya Takes a Big One Off Kornuth
Niveau 17
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
A big pot formed between Chance Kornuth in the small blind and Masashi Oya in the hijack.
With the board reading A♣2♥Q♣7♣ and around 900,000 already in the middle, Kornuth checked on the turn and Oya bet 600,000. Kornuth used a time extension and called.
Kornuth quickly checked on the 8♣ river and Oya pushed out a stack of 1,000,000 with just a few chips behind. Kornuth used another time extension before verbally folding and telling his opponent "nice hand."
