Martirosian Sent to the Rail
Niveau 18
: 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
When action folded to Zdenek Zizka in the hijack he raised to 25,000 and was called by Artur Martirosian in the big blind.
The flop came 4♠9♦10♠ and Martirosian checked to Zizka, who bet out 15,000. Martirosian then raised all in for 110,000, and Zizka quickly made the call.
Artur Martirosian: 9♠5♠
Zdenek Zizka: K♦K♣
Martirosian flopped a pair and a flush draw but was behind the kings of Zizka. The 4♦ turn was no help as it eliminated Martirosian's two pair outs. The river brought one of those outs in the form of the 5♦ but Zizka's two pair of kings and fours was best and eliminated Martirosian from the tournament.
