Petro Gets a Big Double-Up
Niveau 23
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
According to the players, action folded around to Weiran Pu on the button. He raised, and Morgan Petro shoved from the big blind for 970,000. Pu called.
Morgan Petro: 6♦6♣
Weiran Pu: AxKx
Petro’s sixes held on the board of 2♣9♠8♥3♠2♠ and he was able to double up, while Pu suffered a big hit and was down to around ten big blinds.
Pu’s misfortune did not last long, however, as he was able to a little more than double up in a pot versus Grant Juric soon after. Pu got it in with JxJx against Juric’s 8x8x, was able to hold and is back up to a middling stack.
