Queens Get Buzgon a Double

Niveau 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

A player under the gun raised to 2,100 when Daniel Buzgon three-bet all in for 16,100. Then a player from middle position made the call. When action folded to the under the gun player, he folded leaving the two players heads up, with Buzgon at risk.

Daniel Buzgon: QQ All in
Middle Position: JJ

Buzgon was in great shape for the double and when the Q7K flop came out giving Buzgon a set, the middle position player would need running cards to bust Buzgon. But the 5 turn left Buzgon's opponent drawing dead, and the 10 river secured him the double up.

Slowrolling — it's a divisive topic in the poker world. Some players take great joy in taking part in the act, while for others, it's their biggest pet peeve when at the table.

There have been plenty of examples that have made headlines over the years, with Nik Airball's slowroll on Ethan 'Rampage' Yau on Hustler Casino Live being a recent case study.

And now, at the 2024 World Series of Poker, we may have seen the biggest slowroll of the summer so far.
