Donny Rubinstein was all-in with a severe short stack prior to the first draw and Gershon Distenfeld reraised to isolate. Distenfeld took one while Rubinstein took two and Distenfeld then patted the remaining two draws.

Rubinstein took one each and they revealed the cards.

Somehow, the stacks of Kristopher Tong, Eric Wasserson and Warwick Mirzikinian went into the middle of the table with the latter being the shortest stack of 55,900. He even declared that he was just looking to gamble, with both Wasserson and especially Tong happy to oblige.

"That's how you do it, Vlad," Mirzikinian said. Apparently, he had arrived with a very short stack as mentioned by Peck, who then also asked "the re-entry period is over, right?"

Hui Survives; Ruben Does Not as Distenfeld Climbs Further

Philip Hui was all-in before the draw and looked up by table big stack Gershon Distenfeld. Both drew one and Distenfeld showed a 9x7x3x2x, but paired the seven. Hui was already ahead with the 9x6x4x2x and hit an ace to double.

Soon after, Brad Ruben was all-in before the draw against two opponents including Distenfeld. He discarded one and his 9x7x5x3x hit a king. The third player in the hand declared he hit a straight but Distenfeld had a ten to score the knockout.

The action checked through on the J♣10♦Q♦ flop.

The turn brought the A♣. Yotsushika check-called a bet of 1,500 from the small blind.

On the 4♣ river, Yotsushika led for 5,000. The small blind thought for a while and decided to raise to 21,000. Yotsushika responded with a three-bet jam for 39,000 and the big blind snap-folded.

After the hand, the big blind announced, "Your cards flashed and I didn't even see a club."
