Artur Martirosian opened to 15,000 on the button and was three-bet to 60,000 by Patrick Kennedy. Martirosian called.
Both players checked on the J♦10♣J♠ flop and Kennedy checked again on the 3♠ turn. Martirosian bet 90,000 and Kennedy called.
The 6♦ completed the board and Kennedy checked a final time — prompting a hefty 200,000 bet from Martirosian.
This time Kennedy let his hand go and Martirosian collected the pot.
Owen Messere raised to 15,000 on the button and Faraz Jaka called. On the 2♦J♣5♥ flop, Jaka check-called for 15,000 and the 8♣ turn went check-check.
The river brought the 9♣ and Jaka led out for 40,000. Messere called and mucked his hand when Jaka tabled Q♥9♦ for a pair of nines.
A couple hands later, on a flop of 4♦7♠K♠ and 32,000 in the pot, Messere check-raised to 59,000 over Jaka's bet of 9,000. Jaka called and the turn brought the 4♠.
Messere fired out 100,000 and Jaka called. The river brought the 3♠, which slowed down the action with four spades now being on the board. Both players checked and Messere turned over 5♥6♠ for a flush to earn a small lead early on.

After paying off John Smith's flush, Weston Mizumoto was reduced to around 275,000.
The following hand, Mizumoto jammed from the big blind over Smith's raise to 80,000. After some brief thinking time, Smith called.
Weston Mizumoto: A♥6♥
John Smith: K♠3♠
A huge exhale escaped Mizumoto as Smith trips on the K♦K♣9♥ flop to become the huge favorite. The 9♠ turn gave Smith the checkmark ahead of the 4♦ river.
With that, Mizumoto effectively bubbled the Heads-Up Championship, with the final eight players locking up the $86,000 min-cash.
