"WTF Just Happened?"

Will Shillibier

Niveau 38 : 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Luke Varrasso opened to 2,100,000 and got calls from Branden Shimamoto and Harrison Ashdown in the blinds.

The flop came 7♠5♣4♠ and all three players checked. Shimamoto bet 2,500,000 on the 7♣ turn and Varrasso was the only caller.

The river was the 6♥. Shimamoto bet 4,000,000 and Varrasso called, tabling J♣2♣.

"Fuck," said Varrasso. "I thought I had a three!" (for the straight).

Shimamoto turned over K♣10♣ for king-high and won the pot.

"What the fuck just happened?" said Berry, as Shimamoto took down the pot.
