Timm Wins with Trips

Niveau 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Action was caught on the flop of Q7Q, in a hand between Martin Timm in the small blind, the player in the hijack and the player on the button.

With about 6,000 in the pot, it checked through to the 4 turn, where the betting began. Timm led out for a bet of 2,200 and the hijack raised to 6,000. The button got out of the way and Timm called.

The river brought the J, and Timm check-called a bet of 12,000. The hijack turned over KQ, for three of a kind, queens, but Timm had him out kicked with AQ and was awarded the pot.

Niveau 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

The player in early position raised and the player on the button three-bet to 2,600. Eric Turner flatted in the small blind and early position four-bet to 10,600. The button folded and Turner called.

The flop came 8Q9 and Turner check-called a bet of 8,000.

On the 9 turn, Turner checked again and early position moved all in for about 17,000, putting himself at risk. Turner thought for a moment, and asked his opponent if he had aces, before flicking in the call.

Opponent: AK All in

Things didn't go right for Nick Wright early on Monday at the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP). But the sports talk personality is hoping to build up a stack and record his first WSOP cash in Event #61: $2,500 Mixed Omaha-8/Stud-8.

The co-host of First Things First on FS1 first entered Event #60: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em, but quickly busted. He then registered for the mixed event and has, thus far, found better luck.
