Tzu Peng Wang limped from the small blind and David Funkhouser checked his option in the big blind.

Wang took one while Funkhouser drew two.

Wang led for 100,000 and Funkhouser deliberated for a while before he cut out a raise to 330,000 and Wang quickly called.

Funkhouser revealed 8x7x5x3x2x for #11 which was good to drag the pot.

"ODB" Checks Two Down

David "ODB" Baker made it 120,000 to go in the small blind and Charles Tucker called in the big blind. Baker stood pat and so did Tucker, after which they both checked.

Baker tabled Jx7x6x5x4x for a jack-low, but was beaten by the 10x9x8x6x5x of Tucker.

Two hands later, Baker made a raise to 90,000 in the cutoff and was called by Tzu Peng Wang in the big blind. Each player drew two cards and checked thereafter.

Wang showed down 8x6x4x3x2x for an eight-low and took down the pot with his strong hand.

Funkhouser Gets Some Value; Shows a Bluff

David Funkhouser raised to 80,000 on the button and Ali Eslami defended the big blind. Each player drew one card and Eslami checked to Funkhouser.

Funkhouser put in 90,000 additional chips and Eslami called after some thinking time. Funkhouser tabled 10x8x7x6x5x for a ten-eight, taking down the pot as Eslami's cards hit the muck.

The following hand, Charles Tucker opened to 85,000 from under the gun. In the cutoff, Funkhouser three-bet to 305,000, leaving himself under 700,000 behind, and Tucker reluctantly folded. Funkhouser showed 7x7x for the bluff.

David Funkhouser opened to 80,000 from middle position, and in the cutoff, David "ODB" Baker moved in for 385,000, which Funkhouser called.

Baker stood pat with 10x9x7x5x3x while Funkhouser was drawing to an eight-six. Funkhouser peeled a Kx and Baker received the full double shortly after the players moved to the feature table.

The following hand the players decided to move off the feature table, however.

Antonio Seremet Eliminated in 8th Place ($10,552)

David Funkhouser opened to 80,000 from middle position and was called by Ali Eslami in the cutoff. Antonio Seremet then moved all in for 530,000 out of the small blind and was looked up by both of his opponents, though by this point Eslami only had 25,000 behind.

All three players took one card before Funkhouser checked. Eslami committed his remaining stack to the pot and Funkhouser called, though he seemed to know he was beat. Funkhouser had paired up with 9x5x5x4x3x while Seremet held 10x8x7x3x2x. Elsami, meanwhile, emerged on top having drawn to 8x5x4x3x2x to score more than a double up, sending Seremet to the rail in 8th place in the process

Michael Dreese Eliminated in 9th Place ($10,552)

Owais Ahmed opened to 80,000 from the cutoff before David Funkhouser three-bet to 260,000 on the button. Michael Dreese then moved all in for 610,000 out of the big blind, forcing a quick fold from Ahmed. Funkhouser, however, made the call to put Dreese at risk.

Dreese took one while Funkhouser opted to stand pat after which he tabled 8x7x5x4x3x. Meanwhile Dreese had 7x5x4x2x and would need to find a three, six or eight to survive. Instead, he peeled 10x to send him out in 9th place, leaving the remaining players to consolidate into the unofficial final table of eight.

Eslami More than Doubles Through Wang

Antonio Seremet opened the button to 125,000 and Ali Eslami moved in for 185,000 from the small blind. In the big blind, Tzu Peng Wang rejammed for 1,100,000 and Seremet folded.

Eslami stood pat while Wang took one.

Eslami was ahead but Wang had plenty of outs to eliminate him. Luckily for him, Wang peeled an Ax and Eslami found a near triple.

After the draw, Tucker checked to Ahmed, who fired 100,000 chips. Tucker instantly called and tabled Qx7x5x4x3x for the winning hand.
