Murray Doubles Through Allen
Niveau 10
: Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
After a player opened, Louis Murray moved all in for around 30,000 and Andre Allen shoved behind him for more as the rest of the table quickly got out of their way.
Louis Murray: A♣Q♥
Andre Allen: A♦J♠
Murray was a big favorite with his superior kicker, and the runout of 10♣6♦9♦2♠3♦ was clean to award him the double.
"What made you call that time?" Murray asked Allen, whom he had apparently tried to bluff in a previous hand.
"I thought I was ahead, plus I had the chips to do it," Allen replied with a smile as a chunk of his chips were pushed over to Murray.
