With about 7,000 in the pot on a board of 10♠6♥7♠6♠10♥, Kannan Murugan led out with a bet of 5,000 on the river from early position.
After a brief moment of thought, the player in middle position tossed in a 5,000 chip for the call, and mucked when Murugan turned over Q♦10♦, for a full house, tens full of sixes.
Matthew Bode raised to 400 in early position and was called by Gary Meadows, Michael Gaetjans, and two other players made the call.
Five players saw the J♥10♦7♠ scroll across. Two checks to Meadows and he bet 2,000 and was quickly raised to 6,000 by Gaetjans. It folded back to Meadows and he declared all in. Gaetjans quickly made the call.
Gary Meadows: J♠10♠
Michael Gaetjans: J♦10♥
The turn snapped off the 8♠ and when the 9♥ rolled off, Bode said, "I would have had the nuts!" telling his tablemates he had folded his queens; his neighbor confirmed he had seen them when he mucked.
With a jack-high straight on the board, the pot was chopped.
Kevin Ayow raised to 400 in middle position, the player in late position called, as did the player in the big blind.
The flop came 2♣2♦4♥, the big blind checked, Ayow continued with a bet of 700, late position folded and the big blind called.
The turn A♦ went check-check, bringing the 7♣ river. The big blind led out for 1,700 and Ayow called. The big blind showed K♦Q♦ and Ayow tabled 3♦3♥ for two pair, treys and deuces, to scoop the pot.
With about 10,000 already in the pot, the rest of Franklin Yao's stack went into the middle on a flop of A♦8♦Q♦. Yao, who had 11,700 behind after the flop, was all in and at risk.
Franklin Yao: Q♠Q♥
Opponent: A♥K♥
The turn landed the 4♣, locking up the win for Yao. The meaningless 2♣ rolled off on the river and Yao secured the double up.
With a raise to 1,200 on his right and a limp in early position, Rosa raised it to 6,000 and the early position limper went all in. The player in between folded and Rosa couldn't get his chips in quick enough, quickly tabling his hand and showing his opponent the bad news.
Early Position: A♣K♥
Thomas Rosa: A♠A♦
Rosa's aces didn't have to dodge much when the board rolled out K♣8♠3♦6♠8♥, rewarding him nearly a full double and sending his opponent on his way.
Action was caught on the river in a hand between Bob Yamaguchi in middle position and the player in the big blind.
With about 15,000 in the pot and the board reading 9♠4♥A♠10♥3♦, the big blind bet enough to put Yamaguchi all in, who had about 9,000 behind.
Yamaguchi made the call and saw the good news when he tabled A♦10♦ for two pair, aces and tens, besting the 10♣9♦ of his opponent, who had two pair, nines and tens.
Action picked up on the river in a hand between Don Hahn in the cutoff and the player in the big blind.
With about 13,000 in the pot and the board reading 8♣Q♠3♠10♥9♣, the big blind led out with a bet of 10,000.
Hahn then moved all in for 21,700, prompting his opponent to go into the tank. The big blind eventually gave up his cards and the pot was pushed towards Hahn.
