High Fives for Allan Farber in Huge Pot
Niveau 9
: Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Allan Farber and two other players saw action explode on a flop of 5♣Q♠8♠. The inevitable end was all three players getting in their stacks and tabling their hands.
Opponent #1: Q♥9♥
Opponent #2: 8♥8♦
Allan Farber: 5♠5♥
It was a set-over-set situation and Farber, who had the big stack, was on the bad end of it. The J♥ turn gave one of the shorter stacks a straight draw, but Farber found salvation when the dealer delivered the 5♦ on the river to give him quads, the double knockout, and a huge pot!
