2024 World Series of Poker
Niveau: 5
Blinds: 300/600
Ante: 600
What is it about one-outer straight flushes involving poker legends this summer? Daniel Negreanu hit the dream card on the river in a crucial pot late Wednesday, and he's now in a solid position to end an 11-year World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet drought.
The hand took place on Day 4 of Event #58: $50,000 Poker Players Championship, one of the most prestigious tournaments every year. And it will go down as one of the most memorable from the tournament.
According to the players, action was opened with a raise from Daniel Jarrell in middle position, which Rittikrai Kanjanawiphu three-bet on the cutoff. After Jarrell’s call, the two players headed to the 6♥9♣2♣ flop.
Jarrell checked and Kanjanawiphu bet 1,800. Jarrell called.
The turn was the K♣. After another check from Jarrell, Kanjanawiphu bet bigger, 8,000 chips. Jarrell called.
The river was the Q♣. Jarrell checked and this time, so did Kanjanawiphu.
Jarrell showed A♦K♦ for turned top pair top kicker and Kanjanawiphu mucked. He later said he had nothing on the flop and a gutshot on the turn with Q♠10♠.

Hand 1:
Heads up to a river reading 3♣5♣6♥8♣J♠, Jarred Gabin placed a bet of 5,000 and was quickly called by his opponent. Gabin was quick to table the K♣9♣ for the second-nut flush.
Hand 2:
Christian Hermann and Lori Persinger had cards on their backs and all their chips pushed forward on a board reading Q♥J♠8♥4♦K♣.
Lori Persinger: 10♦9♦
Christian Hermann: 10♠9♥
Neither were thrilled with the outcome, as they'd both flopped the nut straight and chopped up the blinds.

Camille Brown moved all in for her remaining stack which had already been shortened to around 15,000. She was called by one opponent.
Camille Brown: 6x6x
Opponent: 9x9x
The board was run out quickly with a six coming on the flop to give Brown the double and keep her from needing to reload a new bullet.

Players have gone on a 20-minute break and the field continues to swell in Event #67: Salute to Warriors.
With a raise to 1,200 and a call in front of him, Timothy Guilford raised to 3,600 and received a call from Sean Connors, on his direct right.
Heads up they saw a flop of 9♥Q♦2♦ and Connors took the betting lead, wagering 3,500. Guilford made the call.
The turn peeled the K♣ and Connors slowed down with a check. Guilford placed a bet of 8,000 and Connors made the call.
The river completed with the 6♣ and after Connors checked, Guilford went all in for just over 29,000.
"You play tight enough... I can let you have this one," Connors said as he folded and flashed the Q♣J♣.
Guilford proudly showed the A♥5♥ for the bluff and took the pot down.
