Action was caught on the river with 11,200 in the middle on the 7♥6♦5♣5♦10♠ board.

The cutoff fired out 8,500 before Maxwell Young jammed for around 37,000.

The cutoff went deep into the tank and ended up folding. Young slammed his J♠9♠ onto the felt, for just jack-high.

Young made headlines at the 2024 WSOP recently, being on the wrong end of a widely discussed slowroll deep into the $1,500 Monster Stack.

The under-the-gun player played his first hand and opened to 600. Ehsan Amiri three-bet to 1,800 and was called by the small blind. The original raiser pumped it up to 7,500, and only Amiri called.

Amiri called a bet of 8,000 on the 9♠3♠2♣, which brought in the K♠ turn. The under-the-gun player jammed for around 21,000 and was snap-called by Amiri, who covered.

Afriat continued for 2,000 on the 4♥2♠2♣ flop, and only Margolin called.

The 5♣ came in on the turn, prompting Afriat to size up to 5,000. Margolin thought briefly, before opting to fold.

Alt continued for 700 on the Q♦J♣6♠ and was called. The 2♥ turn and 5♠ river then checked through to showdown.

Alt had A♠10♣ for ace-high and conceded the pot when his opponent tabled 10♥10♠.

Farrell Gets an Early Double with Aces

The under-the-gun player opened the action with a raise before Niall Farrell three-bet to 1,100 from the hijack. The original raiser was the only caller.

On the 5♠4♦3♠ flop, Farrell continued for 2,000 and was met with a check-raise to 6,500. The Scotsman called.

Farrell's opponent fired out 8,000 on the 5♥ turn and went into the tank when Farrell jammed for 25,600. After agonizing over the decision, the under-the-gun player called as the slightly bigger stack.

Farrell was ahead with aces but needed to dodge a spade, while a deuce would chop up the pot.

The board completed with the 10♦ and Farrell scooped an early double.

Elsewhere in the room, his compatriot Dean Hutchison took his seat. Hutchison finished sixth in last year's Main Event, which netted him a $1,850,000 payday.

The under the gun player made it 400, with Juan Endara calling from the hijack. The cutoff three-bet to 2,300 before the big blind made it 8,000. The original raiser folded and then Endara sprang into life, back-raising to 18,300. The cutoff got out of the way and so did the big blind after some time in the tank.
