Joey Couden: XxXx / 7♥5♣Q♠10♥ / Xx
Couden check-called on fourth. He then led on fifth and Turner called.
Couden led again on sixth and Turner raised after he made a low. Couden check-called a final bet from Turner on seventh.
"50-50 squeeze," announced Turner as he turned over his hole cards, referring to whether or not he picked up the 4♠ or the 5♠ on the end. Luckily for him, it was the four which gave him a straight to scoop the pot.
Action was picked up on fourth street in a hand between Eli Elezra and Men Nguyen.
Eli Elezra: 8♦4♦ / 3♦6♥7♦2♥ / 5♣
Men Nguyen: 5x4x / 7♣Q♣2♣3♥ / Xx
Nguyen took a passive route as he check-called the whole way.
Elezra already made a low on fifth when he bet, and he also picked up a gutshot straight flush draw.
Elezra bet for a final time on seventh and Nguyen called with his seven-five low.
However, it was no good as Elezra revealed 8-7-6-5-4-3-2 for the super-straight to scoop a sizeable pot as the field size ticked below 50 players remaining.
Action was picked up on sixth street in a pot between Men Nguyen and John Seaton.
Men Nguyen: XxXx/2♦7♦6♠9♠/Xx
John Seaton: XxXx/4♥3♦J♥J♠/Xx
Seaton bet on sixth street and on seventh street with Nguyen contemplating his decision on each street. After some time passed, he put in the chips to call.
Men showed 7♣6♣2♥ for sevens and sixes which was good for the pot as Seaton showed Q♣2♠5♣ for only jacks.
The following hand, Seaton was all in from the bring in and fourth street was seen by four players.
John Seaton: XxXx/2♣6♥A♠J♦/Xx
Men Nguyen: XxXx/4♠8♦7♠8♠/Xx
Issa Tadros: XxXx/J♣9♣Q♦10♥/Xx
Eli Elezra: XxXx/7♠10♣7♦(Folded on fifth street)
Eric Buchman: XxXx/A♦9♠9♥(Folded on fifth street)
Action checked to Tadros on fourth street and everyone called.
On fifth street, action checked over to Tadros who bet and Elezra and Buchman folded, leaving Nguyen to ponder his decision before deciding to call.
Sixth street saw Nguyen make open eights and he bet with Tadros calling behind.
Nguyen bet once more on seventh street and Tadros began shuffling his chips.
"You got a full house Men?" Tadros asked as he thought about what to do with his cards. Eventually he tossed in the chips and the hands were tabled.
Nguyen turned over 8♥7♠4♥ for eights full with an eight-seven low and Tadros flashed an A♥K♣3♦ for an inferior Broadway. Seaton turned up Q♦10♥9♦ for just ace-high and he was eliminated from the tournament while the seven-time bracelet winner scooped a massive pot.
At another table, Salah Levy was eliminated when his rolled up aces could not hold up against a set of fours that made a full house on seventh street.
Thomas Taylor completed with the A♣, Brian Twete raised with the A♥, and Taylor called.
Thomas Taylor: J♠J♣ / A♣6♥J♦6♦ / 5♠
Brian Twete: AxQx / A♥Q♠10♥2♠ / Xx
Twete led on fourth and was called. On fifth, Twete bet again and Taylor raised.
Taylor bet on sixth and seventh. On the end, Twete was uncomfortable but decided that his aces and queens were too good to fold. He got the bad news as Taylor had made jacks full of sixes as his stack has continued to grow throughout the day.
