Picking up the action as the draws had been completed, Bin Weng made a bet of 2,000 from the small blind in a pot of 45,000 chips. Billy Baxter sat in the big blind and raised to 12,000.

Blenznick chose to draw three, while Foxen stayed pat.

Bleznick tabled Jx7x4x3x2x and was able to take down the pot after Foxen mucked his hand.

Harman Draws Dead

Niveau 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 3,000 ante

Wil Wilkinson raised to 6,000 in middle position and Jen Harman three-bet to 25,000 on the button. The action folded back to Wilkinson, who jammed in his stack of 38,000 and received an instant call.

Wilkinson stood pat and Harman drew one as she broke a ten-low.

Wil Wilkinson: 8x7x5x4x2x All in
Jen Harman: 9x8x7x3x

Harman could not hit a card to defeat the eight-low of Wilkinson, and she turned over a meaningless Kx as the pot was shipped to her opponent.

Niveau 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 3,000 ante

Dan Shak sat in the big blind and was up against an all-in opponent on the button, who was at risk for his stack of 55,000. Shak stood pat and his opponent drew one.

Button: 8x7x4x3x All in
Dan Shak: 9x8x7x4x2x

The button peeled a 9x. "We chop," stated Shak, but he had misread his opponent's hand. Shak pipped the player on the button instead, and he was sent home late on Day 1.

James Chen

James Chen on the button was all in for less than 10,000 chips and at risk against Julio Belluscio in middle positon.

Belluscio stood pat and Chen drew two after what seemed like an agonizing decision.

James Chen: 8x6x2x All in
Julio Belluscio: 10x8x7x4x3x

Chen's first card was an Ax, leaving him drawing dead as his 9x did not matter anymore. Chen was eliminated for the second time, leaving him unable to fire another bullet.
