Lamb and Wiszowaty Clash
Niveau 3
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Ben Lamb opened the cutoff and got called by both the button and small blind before Philip Wiszowaty three-bet from the big blind to 14,000. Lamb and the small blind called.
A flop of 5♥8♣5♠ hit the felt and when the action checked to Lamb, he bet 15,000. Only Wiszowaty made the call.
The 10♣ landed on the turn which Wiszowaty checked, and Lamb fired a bet of 54,500. After using three time-extensions cards, Wiszowaty shoved for 121,900, and Lamb eventually made the call.
Philip Wiszowaty: A♥Q♥9♠7♠
Ben Lamb: 9♥7♣6♥4♣
Both players had a straight draw and Lamb had a flush draw to go with it, but it was Wiszowaty that was in the lead with his ace-high. The Q♣ river improved Lamb to a flush, which eliminated Wiszowaty from the tournament.
