Gruffudd Pugh-Jones raised to 35,000 in the cutoff and Bogdan Capitan called on the button. Ren Lin then potted in the small blind to 154,000 and Pugh-Jones moved all-in, Capitan folded and Lin called all-in.
Ren Lin: A♠K♦Q♠J♥
Gruffudd Pugh-Jones: Q♥J♠7♥6♠
The roller coaster runout of 8♥7♣2♠Q♣K♠ gave Lin superior two pair and he doubled for 224,000.
Five ways limped to the 9♥8♠6♣ flop, the action checked around and Raphael Schreiner then bet the J♦ turn for 33,000 from under the gun. Billy Tarango in the cutoff and Cong Pham in the small blind called.
Pham checked the 3♥ river and Schreiner bet 55,000. Tarango called and Pham folded for Schreiner to reveal K♥K♠Q♣10♣ for the nut straight to win the pot.
The action was picked up on the turn of 7♣K♠J♣5♠, where Tim Van Loo made a pot-sized bet of 77,000 from the big blind. Lou Garza called to see the 2♣ turn.
Van Loo slowed down and checked, and Garza opted to do the same after some time. Van Loo tabled Q♣J♠J♦8♣ for a flush and took down the pot.
"Good check-back," Van Loo said to Garza as he was stacking.
Scott Seiver defended the big blind and then check-called a bet by Joao Simao on the K♣J♥2♣ flop to see the 2♥ on the turn. Seiver checked again and Simao in the cutoff bet 50,000 before the check-shove for 254,000 followed.
Simao used three time bank extensions before making the call.
Scott Seiver: A♥10♥6♥2♦
Joao Simao: K♥J♠7♠5♥
The 8♠ river changed nothing anymore as Seiver doubled. In the meanwhile, Eric Wasserson had dropped by to share the news that his aces were cracked by a Badugi hand. A short-stacked Arthur Morris departed shortly after from the same table, too.
Niveau: 12
Blinds: 6,000/12,000
Ante: 12,000
Dylan Linde had put in his final chips on a board of J♣2♦J♥2♠A♦ and was called by Roberto Sagra.
Linde tabled A♣K♦J♠8♥ for jacks full of aces and raked in the double-up as Sagra's cards were swept away.
Lars Nordkvist had raised under the gun when Michael Moncek threw in his 180,000 chips on the button. Nordkvist quickly called to put Moncek at risk.
Michael Moncek: J♠10♠10♣8♥
Lars Nordkvist: A♣A♦5♦4♥
The flop came 2♥2♦6♦. "That's a good start," commented Nordkvist.
The turn came the 10♦. "That's a bad turn," commented Nordkvist.
The K♥ river did not beat the full house of Moncek, and Nordkvist paid his opponent.
Three ways to the Q♦8♠5♣ flop, Shahar Levi in the small blind bet the pot and pushed forward 175,000 in green chips. Iaroslav Boiko called all-in from middle position for 57,000 and Jared Bleznick folded on the button.
Iaroslav Boiko: 10♦9♦8♣6♠
Shahar Levi: A♦A♣J♦8♦
The Q♠ turn took away some outs for Boiko and the 6♦ river ended his run on the first bullet.
Santhosh Suvarna limped in from the cutoff, David Benyamine raised to 35,000 from the button, Dylan Smith three-bet to 120,000 from the big blind, Suvarna folded and Benyamine called.
The flop came 2♠7♥9♣. Smith bet enough to put Benyamine all in and Benyamine called off with his remaining stack off 171,000 to put himself at risk.
David Benyamine: K♥Q♥10♦8♥
Dylan Smith: 10♥8♠6♥5♠
Both players completely missed their draws when the rest of the board ran out 2♦7♣. Benyamine's king-kicker to the pair on the board was good at showdown and he scored a full double up through Smith.
The last 92,000 chips of Rob Hollink went into the middle on a flop of K♦J♣9♠ and he was up against Eelis Pärssinen out of the small blind.
Rob Hollink: A♦J♦10♦8♠
Eelis Pärssinen: A♣K♥Q♦3♣
The 4♦ turn gave Hollink more outs but the K♣ river was not among them.
