Nathan Forrest had open-raised preflop and Oleksii Ievchenko and Gabriella Spallone called in the blinds. The K♠9♠5♦ flop then checked through before Forrest bet 3,600 on the 5♠ turn after two more checks.
Ievchenko raised to 9,000 and Spallone called. Forrest had seen enough and laid his hand down as the A♥ river to complete the board.
Ievchenko slowed down and checked, prompting Spallone to bet 21,000 chips. Ievchenko quickly called and was shown J♠7♠ by his opponent.
Ievchenko played the higher flush with his A♠8♠, however, and raked in the sizable pot.
