Koppel Flops the Joint to Earn a Massive Double
Niveau 9
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Three players saw a flop of 6♠2♣5♠ where the big blind bet 18,000. Another player in early position called, but Jared Koppel raised to 60,000 on the button. Only the big blind called.
The turn was the 6♥ and Koppel moved all in for 171,000. The big blind snap-called with Q♠Q♣, but Koppel had 4♦3♦ for a flopped straight.
His opponent began pleading for a six with more than 500,000 in the middle, but he missed the 8♦ river as Koppel held on to secure the massive double up.
