Nguyen Flops Top Pair Against Foxen
Niveau 10
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
On a board of J♦7♣9♣5♦, there were around 12,000 chips in the pot when Manh Nguyen bet 5,000 from the small blind, and Alex Foxen raised to 16,000 seated in middle position. Nguyen called.
A 4♥ completed the board and Nguyen checked, and Foxen instantly checked back.
Nguyen tabled A♣J♣ for top pair with an ace kicker, and Foxen checked his cards once more before tossing them into the muck.
