Zakarian Shows Geith a Set
Niveau 29
: Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Robert Geith raised to 300,000 from the hijack and was called by Veerab Zakarian in the small blind.
Zakarian led out for 300,000 on the 2♥3♦4♣ flop and Geith min-raised to 600,000. Zakarian called.
The A♦ fell on the turn and Zakarian led out again — this time for 450,000. Geith called.
Both players checked down on the K♣ river and Geith announced a pair of aces. Geith tabled 3♣3♥ for a flopped set of threes and Zakarian showed AxJx before sending it into the muck.
