Lopez Takes the Rest of Wolpert's Stack
Niveau 30
: Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Marc Wolpert raised for all but the last 50,000 in the small blind and Adrian Lopez came along in the big blind to see the 9♦8♠6♦ flop, on which the last few chips trickled into the middle.
Marc Wolpert: K♦10♠
Adrian Lopez: A♦J♦
Lopez was ahead, yet he asked for diamonds to lock up the elimination. The Q♠ turn gave Wolpert more outs with a double gutshot but the A♠ river only improved Lopez to a pair of aces, reducing the field to the last 64 players with another pay jump in sight.
