With two players seeing a board of K♣J♣7♦ and about 14,000 in the pot David McGowan checked from the blinds and his opponent checked behind.

McGowan bet 5,000 on the 10♣ turn and was called by his opponent.

Both players checked the 3♣ river. McGowan tabled J♠J♦ for a set of jacks which, despite four clubs being on the board, was good enough to take the pot.

The 3♠ turn checked through to the 2♣ on the river. The small blind checked again and Panayiotou bet out 5,000. The small blind made a crying call. Panayiotou tabled A♦4♦ having missed his flush draw, but backed into the wheel straight.

Lofberg Puts Cole to Ultimate Test

Simon Lofberg opened the action from middle position with a raise to 700. Montgomery Cole three-bet to 2,000 from the cutoff and Lofberg made the call.

Lofberg led into Cole for 1,600 on 8♣10♦7♥ before Cole raised to 4,000. Lofberg asked for all of Cole's chips by putting in another raise to 24,000. After a short tank, Cole folded Q♠Q♣ face up and Lofberg was awarded the pot.
