The flop came K♦7♦8♠. Tsai bet 5,200, Bitton shoved for 35,100 and Tsai, who had Bitton slightly covered, made the call.

Bitton had a flush draw and a gutshot but was in bad shape against Tsai who had the nut-flush draw. Tsai made second pair on the J♥ turn leaving Bitton drawing only to a non-diamond five. The Q♥ river was a brick and Bitton was sent to the rail while Tsai collected nearly a full double up.

Elsewhere in the tournament area Upeshka De Silva was recently eliminated.

Mathieu Choffardet raised to 1,400 from under the gun, Bob Velthuis three-bet to 5,000 from the hijack and Choffardet called.

The 4♠3♥Q♠ flop saw Choffardet check-call a bet of 3,000 from Velthuis.

The 3♣ turn saw a repeat of the action, this time Velthuis sized up to 4,000.

The 5♦ river prompted a check from Choffardet. Velthuis bet again for 4,000 and Choffardet eventually made the call. Velthuis tabled Q♣Q♥ for a full house, winning him another pot.

The board read J♥10♣4♦Q♥A♣. Joshua Terebelo was deep in the tank. The pot had about 8,500 in it. From the button, Ian Simpson had placed a 25,000 chip out for a bet that was making for some serious consternation for Terebelo.

He encouraged the table to call the clock on him, and when a tablemate finally did he protested the amount of time he said he had been given but the floor came over to count it down and when the countdown hit zero the hand was dead and Simpson took the pot.

Wong continued for 7,000 on Q♥10♥4♥ before the big blind moved all in for 35,000. Wong quickly called and had his opponent in rough shape.

Guillette bet again for 6,500 when checked to on the 7♦ turn and this time it was enough to force a fold from Bromfman.

Heads-up on a board of 3♦5♠J♠9♣, Dillon Najor bet 18,000 from the small blind and an opponent under the gun called.

The river was the 6♠ and Najor moved all in, having his opponent's last 50,000 covered. "Kings are good," the under-the-gun player said as he mucked.

"That's not a one pair kind of move," a tablemate said as Najor took down one of the last pots of the night.
