Hector Berry opened to 700 from under the gun and received a call from Glen Chadwick in middle position before Eduard Burd three-bet to 3,600 from the small blind. Berry called while Chadwick got out of the way.

The flop came J♥5♥3♥. Burd fired a 4,000 continuation bet which was enough to force a fold from Berry.

Under the gun opened the action with a raise to 800. Denis Ethier called in middle position before the button three-bet to 2,800. Both under the gun and Ethier called.

The button continued for 2,500 on a rainbow 2♠Q♣J♦ flop before Ethier raised to 8,500. After a long tank, the button mucked and Ethier dragged in the pot to get back above starting stack.

Scala's River Raise gets Through

Mauro Scala opened to 700 from early position and immediately got three-bet to 1,500 by Nicola Comaianni in the seat next to him. Scala called and they went to the flop.

Scala check-called a bet of 3,000 from Comaianni on the 8♣J♣7♣ flop to see the 5♦ appear on the turn. Again Scala check-called the same bet of 3,000 and they headed to the river.

On the board-pairing 7♠ river, Scala checked and faced a bet of 5,000 from Comaianni. Scala then check-raised to 17,000 and was met by a quick fold from Comaianni.

Picking up the action partway through the hand, James Dike in the small blind got his remaining 4,500 in the middle against Stuart Rutter in late position.

Dike was in rough shape and looked to be heading to the exits after the flop came J♦6♣J♣ followed by the 3♥ turn. The 9♦ river was just what the doctor ordered for Dike, however, as he paired up his kicker to score a small double.

The dealer put out 10♥2♣4♠ and the big blind continued for 4,500. Only Nakajima called.

The big blind checked the 9♦ turn over to Nakajima who wagered 7,000 but his opponent made the laydown.

Rusnak Aggression Takes Pot

After action folded to John Mcneil in early position, he raised to 600. A player in middle position called, when Francis Rusnak three-bet to 2,100. After it folded back to Mcneil, he made the call and the player in middle position folded.

The flop came 6♦J♣K♣ and Mcneil checked to Rusnak, who bet 3,000. Mcneil made the call to see a turn.

After the 3♦ on the turn, Mcneil checked to Rusnak who bet again, this time for 8,000. Mcneil gave it some thought before deciding to fold his hand and give the pot to Rusnak.
