The big blind checked following the 3♣Q♠4♦ flop before folding to a continuation from Lewis to send a modest pot over to his opponent. Lewis has so far been holding steady in his quest to make back-to-back main event final tables after finishing in seventh place last year.

Four-way in a limped pot on 8♠4♠6♠, Florence Mazet in the big blind led out for 500 and she was called by the under-the-gun player and Michael Troutt in the cutoff, while the small blind check-folded.
All three players checked the J♣ turn, and Mazet checked again the 2♠ river. The under-the-gun player took this opportunity to bet 600 with 6♣5♣ for a pair. Troutt in the hijack called with A♦7♠ for a flush. And as Mazet folded, he scooped the pot.

West checked again on the 3♥ river and faced a bet of 7,000 from Palaj. After some tanking, West folded his hand and Palaj pulled in the pot.

The flop rolled out 10♥8♣6♥ and Marder check-called a bet from Little to the tune of 1,100.
Action checked down on the 8♠Q♦ runout and Marder turned over A♠10♠ for tens up with an ace, which was good for the pot.

Nicholas Marchington raised to 1,000 in the hijack before Yaniv Peretz three-bet to 3,200 in the small blind. Marchington came back with a four-bet to 7,000 and Peretz called.
The flop came 6♠9♦7♦ and Marchington bet 7,000. Peretz called and the 10♥ fell on the turn.
He checked to Marchington, who sat motionless for several minutes before putting in another 8,000. Peretz called to see the 2♣ river.
Peretz checked again, and Marchington once more took more than a minute before betting 45,000. Peretz only had around 15,000 remaining and also tanked for a few minutes. He eventually folded and Marchington took the lengthy pot.

After the A♠ on the turn, Torre checked to Wu who bet out 5,000. Torre thought over his decision before folding to give Wu the pot.

Sheehan continued for 2,000 on Q♥J♥7♣ and only middle position called.
The turn 7♠ peeled off and Sheehan fired 3,000. Once again, his opponent called.
The river 4♥ hit the felt and Sheehan threw out 5,000. After a short tank, his opponent called. Sheehan tabled A♣Q♣ for the winner.

The cutoff continued for 3,000 on 5♣J♥3♠ and Campbell called.
The turn Q♣ rolled off, prompting the cutoff to fire 8,000. Campbell took a second before moving all in for 29,400. The cutoff quickly folded as the dealer pushed the pot in Campbell's direction.
