Haas Picks Up Kings to Double

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

David Haas three-bet to 3,000 in the hijack before an opponent in the cutoff four-bet to 10,000. Haas then moved all in for 33,000 and his opponent snap-called.

David Haas: KK All in
Opponent: AK

Haas was ahead with his kings and needed to dodge an ace to keep his Main Event hopes alive. The 444 flop was safe, while the rest of the board ran out Q6 to secure Haas a double up.

"I haven't seen a hand like that all day. When you snap-called, I felt for sure you had aces," Haas said as he took in the pot.

Tamasauskas Flops Middle Set, Gets Full Double Up

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Action was picked up on a 6K5 flop with 16,500 in the middle.

The cutoff had bet 4,500 and middle position made the call. Vladas Tamasauskas raised to 12,000 and only middle position called.

Tamasauskas fired 18,000 on the 4 turn and his opponent made the call.

Middle position led all in for 63,000 on the 5 river and Tamasauskas called all in for 39,300. Middle position tabled A5 but his trips fell short to Tamasauskas' 66. Tamasauskas raked in a huge pot as Level 3 starts to wind down.

Texas Mike Hits the Rail

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Michael Moncek
Michael Moncek

Michael Moncek raised to 900 from middle position, and Aristide Carozza in the cutoff made the call. Then the small blind Chris Dandrea three-bet to 3,300. After it folded back to Moncek, he four-bet all in for 19,100. Carozza folded, and after confirming the count Dandrea made the call.

Michael Moncek: A7 All in
Chris Dandrea: AK

Moncek was dominated by the ace-king of Dandrea, and the 9Q3 flop was no help to Moncek. The 10 on the turn did bring Moncek more outs with a flush draw. But when the 9 hit the river, Dandrea's ace-king high was still best, and Moncek was eliminated from the tournament.
