Ramon Kropmanns raised to 600 from early position and Marty Williams in late position called him. In the cutoff Jason Sills three-bet to 2,100 which saw action fold back to Kropmanns who four-bet to 8,500, getting only a call from Sills.

The flop rolled out 10♠J♠Q♣ and Kropmanns sized down to 2,500 which saw Sills call.

On the turn J♥, Kropmanns checked over to Sills, who cut out a bet of 12,000. Kropmanns counted his stack and put in the 12,000.

Both players checked the A♦ river and Kropmanns tabled A♥A♠ for aces full which was good for the pot.

Rebei Fires Big on the River

On a board of 4♠6♠3♣A♥, Ran Koller bet 1,400 into two opponents. Ryan Trueit folded from the hijack, but Karim Rebei raised to 6,000 from the button. Koller called and they headed to the river.

Koller checked the J♦ river and after a lot of thought, Rebei bet 16,100. Koller quickly folded and Rebei dragged in the pot.

Kiene Finds the Right Call

The hijack opened the action with a raise to 400. The button called, Thomas Kiene called in the small blind and the big blind defended.

Action checked to the button who bet out 800 on a A♥6♥3♦ flop. Kiene and the hijack both called.

The hijack took the betting lead, firing 1,200 on the 7♠ turn. The button and Kiene both called.

The river Q♦ peeled off and action checked to the button who wagered 3,500. Kiene called and scooped the pot with A♠10♥. His opponent showed K♥4♥ before giving his cards back to the dealer.

Broom Fires Away

Action was picked up with three players in the hand, with 11,900 in the pot on a board showing 8♦10♥2♥.

James Broom bet out 4,000, a player in middle position folded, and the player in the cutoff made the call.

After the 10♣ on the turn, Broom bet out 11,000. The player in the cutoff gave it some thought before folding and giving the pot to Broom.

Difurio Calls Down Blunier in Four-Way Pot

There was around 10,000 in the pot as four players went to the turn on a board of 10♠3♣6♠J♣. Urs Blunier then bet 6,000 from the hijack and was called by the cutoff, Glenn Difurio in early position, and another opponent in middle position.

The river was the 9♥ and Blunier bet another 8,000. Only Difurio called this time.

"Ace-ten," Blunier said, but Difurio showed K♠J♠ for a pair of jacks as he took the pot.

"I thought for sure somebody had a set," tablemate and 2009 November Niner Steven Begleiter added.

Ryan Brauer limped in from under the gun before the big blind raised to 700. Brauer reraised to 2,200 and his opponent called.

Brauer continued for 1,600 on 8♦5♠3♠ and the big blind made the call.

Action went check-check on the Q♠ turn before the big blind bet the minimum of 200 on the 3♥ river. Brauer called and tabled A♥A♣ for the winner. The big blind showed 8♥7♥ before mucking.

Marcus Off to a Good Start

Picking up the action on the flop, Hal Marcus in the big blind was involved in a hand with Michel Leibgorin in middle position.

With the board reading Q♣3♥10♣ Marcus check-called a bet of 800 from Leibgorin.

Leibgorin bet again after Marcus checked to him on the 3♠ turn, this time making it 2,100. As before, Marcus called.

Neither player put any more chips in the pot following the 9♥ river with Marcus emerging best holding Q♥J♣ to continue his solid start to the day.

The 4♦ river landed on the felt. Michaud checked, then the cutoff fired a second barrel of 5,000.

Michaud went into the tank and called, but threw his cards into the muck when the cutoff flipped over 8♦7♣ for two pair.
