Schultz led out for 3,000 on a rainbow 6104 flop before middle position bumped it up to 8,000. Schultz called.

The turn 3 peeled off and Schultz took the betting lead again, firing 15,000 into the middle. Her opponent called.

Schultz wagered 15,000 once more on the 9 river and after a short tank, her opponent folded.

Heads-up on a flop of 106Q, Tomoko Matsuda bet 2,500 from the button and Luciano Macchiarelli called in the hijack.

The turn was the A and Matsuda bet 7,200. Macchiarelli again called and the 10 fell on the river.

Matsuda bet 17,000 this time, sending Macchiarelli deep into the tank. He took out his ear buds and kneeled up on his seat as he considered the decision for a few minutes before slamming in the chips to call.

Matsuda showed him QQ for top set and Macchiarelli mucked.

Seidel Pays Off Strebkov

Picking up the action on the river, Denis Strebkov from under the gun was involved in a hand with Erik Seidel in the small blind.

With the board reading 7K56K Seidel bet out 6,600. Strebkov responded with a raise to 14,500, which sent Seidel into the tank. After a few moments, the ten time bracelet winner flicked in the call only to be shown 77 by Strebkov for the full house to lose a decent portion of his stack.
