The initial schedule — US and international — is out for the 2024-2025 World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) season, and it should create some excitement within the poker community.

Action for the 20th Circuit season kicks off at a familiar spot — Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, Oklahoma — on July 17, the same day as the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event concludes. There will also be a return to the same casino in October.

There are 18 stops — 13 in the US and five in other countries — on the 2024 portion of the WSOPC schedule. That includes five different countries and eight US states.

Trivett Calls Down

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Picking up the action on the flop, Michael Trivett from under the gun was involved in a hand with a player in the cutoff.

With the board reading 665 Trivett check-called a bet from his opponent.

Trivett checked again following the 3 turn. The cutoff player tossed 5,000 into the middle but was unable to shake off Trivett, who made the call.

The Q river saw Trivett check once more. His opponent was in no mood to go to a cheap showdown, instead firing off 9,000. Trivett thought for a moment, then committed calling chips holding AK. The cutoff could only show K9 for a bluff to send the pot over to Trivett.
