Wilke Scores a Brutal Knock Out

Niveau 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Dennis Wilke
Dennis Wilke

With two players seeing a board of 26Q22 and a bit over 30,000 already in the middle, a player in middle position checked and Dennis Wilke bet 50,000. His opponent, who had about 30,000 behind, went deep into the tank.

Several minutes went by before the clock was called. Finally, with less than ten seconds remaining, the middle position player made the call and tabled twos full of queens with AQ. Wilke turned over a bigger full house with QQ to send his opponent to the rail and drag in a huge pot.

Oberhauser Gets a Fold

Niveau 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

A player opened to 1,300 from the cutoff and was called by a player on the button. Valentin Oberhauser then put in a three-bet to 6,000 out of the small blind only to see a player in the big blind cold four-bet to 11,500. That was met by two quick folds from the cutoff and button players but Oberhauser opted to flat to see a flop.

Oberhauser check-called a 2,600 continuation following the QA7 flop.

Action checked through the 4 turn to the 6 river where Oberhauser bet big, making it 13,500. His opponent only had around 20,000 behind and did not appear thrilled with the situation. After tanking for a couple of minutes, the big blind released their hand to leave themselves short while sending a sizable pot over to Oberhauser.

Damian Salas has had a shorter stack for most of the day as he has not been able to get much traction. He is attempting to remedy that in the final level of the night as he was in a pot of around 6,000 with a board reading Q3825.

Salas was in the big blind and bet 4,600. His opponent folded and Salas took down the pot to chip up some.

Hovsepyan Doesn't Back Down

Niveau 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Ruben Hovsepyan raised to 1,300 from early position and was called by a player in middle position and the player in the small blind. Shunsuke Tokoo then squeezed to 5,500 from the big blind and, undeterred, Hovsepyan made it 13,500 to go.

Action folded back to Tokoo, who laid his hand down after a lengthy tank to send the pot Hovsepyan's way.
