Jarman Takes Early Pot

Niveau 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

William Jarman opened to 500 from the hijack and Jenny Ding three-bet to 1,400 from the cutoff. Stuart Taylor called in the big blind and Jarman called as well.

The flop came 478 and action checked around to Ding who bet 2,500. Both opponents made the call.

All three players checked the 10 turn leading to the 5 river. Taylor checked, Jarman bet 5,000, Ding called and Taylor folded, showing that he had 109 for top pair before mucking.

Jarman tabled A6 for a straight to take down a nice early pot.

July 5, 2019: Reliving the Craziest Day in WSOP Main Event History

Niveau 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

Exactly five years ago to the day, the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event experienced one of its wildest sessions ever. One player was tossed from poker's most prestigious tournament for, no joke, exposing his genitalia in the middle of a hand and then throwing his shoe at the dealer. And that's only part of the craziness that transpired.

Later in the day, patrons inside the Rio, which hosted the WSOP at the time, experienced an earthquake that sent shockwaves through the famous Amazon Room. Kevin Martin captured a video of the aftermath.
