Nakanishi Fires Two Barrels

After an open by a player in middle position, 2024 WSOP bracelet winner Shota Nakanishi three-bet to 2,000 from the button.

The middle-position player called, and check-called after Nakanishi continued for 3,700 on QAK.

On the 4 turn, Nakanishi fired a second barrel of 9,000. This time, it was too much for his opponent who check-folded.

On a board of 366J5, Pavle Pecelj checked and Elia Ahmadian bet 6,000. Pecelj then check-raised to 16,000, and after thinking for a while, Ahmadian let it go.

On a flop of 3J5 Adrian Mateos check-called a bet of 600 from Ilavenil Arumugam.

The 4 on the turn got checked through for the 4 to come on the river. Mateos led out for 1,300 and got an instant fold from Arumugam.

On another table, Martin Kabrhel was seen exiting the tournament area and has been eliminated from the Main Event.

Jin Ro raised to 900 from middle position, receiving calls from the hijack and Vincent Cummings, in the cutoff.

All three players checked the 64K flop through to the 7 on the turn. Ro took the lead for 1,900 and only Cummings called.

The 9 river slowed down Ro. Cummings took the lead for 3,800. Ro went into the tank but eventually mucked his cards.

Castelluccio Turns the Winner

Sergio Castelluccio raised to 800 from middle position and Shannon Shorr defended from the big blind.

The flop fell 45Q and Shorr check-called a bet of 700 from Castelluccio.

The 10 turn and 8 river got checked through and Castelluccio took down the pot with J10 for a pair of tens.

A player under the gun made it 800 to go and Daryl Aguirre called from the hijack. Arpit Bhardwaj was on the button and he made it 3,600, which was called by under the gun and Aguirre.

On the 89K flop, it checked to Bhardwaj who fired 3,600. Under the gun called before Aguirre made it 11,800, which only Bhardwaj called.

A J landed on the turn and Aguirre fired a bet of 16,000, which sent Bhardwaj into the tank. After some time thinking, Bhardwaj folded AA face up, and Aguirre was kind enough to show 88 for a flopped set.

Morgan Gets One Through

Brian Morgan opened to 1,000 from the cutoff and was called by Robert Powell on the button before Tae Kim three-bet to 2,700 from the small blind. Both Morgan and Powell made the call.

The flop came AQ5. Kim bet 3,000, Morgan called and Powell got out of the way.

Kim bet another 3,000 on the 6 turn. Morgan raised to 11,000 and took the pot without showdown after Kim opted to fold. Morgan mentioned after the hand that he had king-jack for just a gutshot to the Broadway straight.
