Life Outside Poker is a new podcast for PokerNews hosted by Connor Richards that seeks to pull back the curtain on poker players and allow viewers and listeners to get to know them on a personal level.

The action was caught on a flop of 6♠A♥9♣ in a pot between the big blind and Christoph Vogelsang. The big blind checked, and Vogelsang bet 700. The big blind made the call.
The big blind checked to Vogelsang on the 8♦ turn. Vogelsang bet 2,200 and his opponent made the call.
The river was the A♠, both players checked and the big blind took down the pot with 9♠8♠ for two pair, aces and nines.

The turn showed Q♣6♣3♠9♥ and Michael Nye checked from the hijack. Ankush Mandavia bet 7,000 in the cutoff and Nye called. They then checked the 9♣ on the river and Nye tabled his K♠K♦ for kings and nines. Mandavia glanced at his cards for several seconds and then sent them into the muck.

With a completed board of J♠5♦3♠10♣K♠ on the table, Sara Hall fired 2,500 into the pot of about 4,000. Jon Turner thought about it for a few moments and dropped a chip across the line to make the call.
Hall rolled A♥7♣ for ace-high and Turner tabled A♣5♥ for a pair of fives to take the pot.

Action folded around to the blinds, where the player in the small blind raised to 800 and Tony Dunst called in the big blind.
Dunst called an 1,100 bet from his opponent on the 5♣10♦2♠ flop and then announced a bet of 2,800 after the small blind checked on the 9♣ turn.
His opponent folded and Dunst, who had a rough first level, chipped back up to approximately 15,000.

Frankie Cucchiara made it 900 from the button and got a call out of the small blind.
On the K♦7♠K♥ flop, the small blind check-called a bet of 700 from Cucchiara.
The action then slowed down as the 3♠ turn and 6♠ river were both checked down.
The small blind showed A♣9♠ for ace-high, but Cucchiara had the winner with A♠Q♣.

Action picked up on the flop in a hand between Sebastian Gaehl, who was under the gun, and Robert Campbell, in middle position.
With over 6,000 in the pot and the board reading 6♠Q♠4♥, Gaehl check-called a bet of 2,300 from Campbell.
The turn 3♦ went check-check, bringing the 8♠ river. Gaehl led out for 4,000 and after a moment of thought, Campbell gave up his hand.

Davidi Kitai check-called a bet of 1,600 on the 8♥4♣2♣10♥ turn and then checked the 7♥ river. His opponent tabled the A♣10♠ for top pair and top kicker to win the pot.
Triple Crown winner Kitai sits just below the starting stack on a table that also includes John Juanda and early big stack Aram Zobian.
