Coleman Chops with Kimpel

Alexander Kimpel opened to 1,200 and David Coleman called from the button.

On the 10A5 flop, Kimpel check-called d a bet of 2,500 from Coleman.

The turn brought a 4 and again Kimpel checked, and Coleman sized up to 7,000. Kimpel didn't think for too long before he called.

A 9 completed the board which Kimpel checked, and after some thought, Coleman checked behind.

Kimpel tabled AQ and Coleman flipped AQ, which meant the pot was split.

Klein Gets a Chop

Niveau 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Morten Klein opened to 1,200 from early position and was called by a player in middle position as well as the big blind.

Action checked through the K6J flop to the A turn at which point both the big blind and Klein checked once more. The middle position player bet 3,000, forcing a fold from the big blind but getting a call from Klein.

Neither player put any more money in the pot once the 6 river completed the board. The middle position player turned over AQ to chop the pot with Klein, who held A10 and was thus the beneficiary of a kind river.

Nguyen Takes From Eskandar

Niveau 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Patrick Eskandar raised to 1,100 from early position and was called by Dao Nguyen in middle position and Jonathan Hsu out of the big blind.

The monotone flop of 576 was checked by Hsu. Eskandar fired a continuation bet of 1,600 and only Nguyen called.

Eskandar checked the 2 on the turn and then folded to a bet of 3,300 from Nguyen

Marquez Fires Flop and Turn

With a flop of Q97 on the felt, the big blind checked to Ana Marquez who fired a bet of 3,000 into the pot of 5,000. The cutoff called, and the big blind mucked his hand.

The 4 fell on the turn and Marquez didn't slow down, tossing 7,000 into the middle. The cutoff thought about it for a few moments before surrendering the pot.

Action was caught on a flop of QJ2, in a hand between Paul Clements, who was under the gun and Mason Hinkle, in early position.

Clements check-called a bet of 3,000 from Hinkle, bringing the 7 turn. Clements check-called again, this time for 6,500 and the river landed the 5.

Clements checked once more and Hinkle fired out a bet of 10,000, prompting Clements to muck his hand.

At two nearby tables, Dan Heimiller and Dan Sepiol were seen leaving the tournament area, having recently been eliminated.

With about 20,000 in the pot already, John Loveless was seen getting his last 21,200 in the middle against the button and both hands were tossed on their backs.

Loveless was facing elimination as he ran into two pair but the 9 river improved him to a straight to stay alive.

Morales Has the Better Kicker

Ashley "Ash Kardash" Morales was left with a short stack after losing a big pot with pocket queens and picked up some chips just now. She called a raise to 1,100 by the hijack and then called another bet worth 1,500 on the 1022 flop. They checked the 7 turn and 9 river for the hijack to announce ace-five.

Morales had the superior kicker with the AJ to win the pot. "I needed that one," she exclaimed in table chat.

Fritz Stays Alive

Manuel Fritz was three-way on a flop of A3K, with around 13,500 chips in the middle. The action checked to Fritz in the hijack, who bet 3,000. The player under the gun folded before his opponent in early position called.

On the Q turn, Fritz shipped his remaining 9,000 in the middle and received a quick fold from his opponent's 10x10x.
