Ding Flips the Script on Opponent

Niveau 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Andrew Ding raised to 1,100 from early position, and then watched as a player to his left and a player on the button called.

The player in the big blind elected to three-bet to 6,000, which Ding called. The other players folded.

The dealer placed 4K6 on the flop, and the player in the big blind led out with 2,700. Ding didn’t take long to make the call.

The K appeared on the turn, and it was enough to slow down the player in the big blind. Ding, however, took over the role as the aggressor and bet 5,500. The player in the big blind paused for a few seconds before making the call.

The dealer then placed 5 on the river, and the player in the big blind checked. Ding grabbed three 25,000 chips and put them out as his bet, which totaled 75,000 and more than covered his opponent.

The player in the big blind had approximately 10,200 in front of him and went deep in the tank. He alternated looking at the board for a few moments, then across the table at Ding, and finally his own chip stack before eventually folding.

“Show the bluff,” a player at the table said to Ding as the pot was being pushed his way.

“I can’t,” Ding replied. “I don’t bluff.”

Zanot Is Running Up a Stack

Niveau 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

On the tail end of a KK2J9 board, Thomas Zanot bet 1,800. His sole remaining opponent reluctantly called from two seats over and Zanot tabled the 98 for kings and nines, which ended up winning the pot.

Zanot has nearly tripled the stack he started with and is among the bigger stacks in the Horseshoe Event Center.

Jett Goes Runner-Runner

Niveau 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Chip Jett opened to 1,200 from early position and was called by the player in the cutoff, John Smith on the button, and both players in the blinds for a five-way pot.

Action checked to Jett on the 7107 flop and he continued for 1,500. The cutoff and Smith called, but both blinds folded.

The Q turn checked through and Jett fired 6,000 into the middle on the J river. It was folded to Smith, who decided to look Jett up and Jett tabled AK for Broadway.

Smith mucked and Jett was sent the pot.
