Seref Anar and his opponent had put in 10,000 chips each preflop when a flop of 967 was dealt. His opponent then shoved all in for 16,100 and Anar snap called with the covering stack.

It was looking like Anar would be left with crumbs as the Q came on the river, but the K river saw him hit his two-outer and eliminate his opponent from the Main Event.

PokerNews arrived at the table with the flop showing 1038. A player seated under the gun fired out a bet of 2,000 and Takuma Bergeron called from the cutoff.

The dealer put out the Q on the turn and the under the gun player continued with a bet of 8,000. This prompted a quick fold from Bergeron and the under the gun player pulled in the pot.

Clements' Ace-High is Good

Action picked up on the river in a hand between Paul Clements, who was under the gun and Sebastian Gaehl, in the cutoff.

With a little over 20,000 in the pot and the board reading 774109, Clements checked and Gaehl checked back.

Clements turned over AQ, and Gaehl tossed his cards into the muck.

"Nice call," his opponent said as he tabled 85 for a pair of fives. Barron showed Q9 for two pair and raked in the pot.

Action checked to Ivey following the J52 flop and he continued for 3,000. The small blind responded by moving all in for 27,100, forcing two quick folds from the big blind and cutoff. Ivey thought for a while before eventually calling with the covering stack to put his opponent at risk.

Ivey was ahead with his top pair but would need to fade quite a few outs to win the pot. Nothing changed on the 7 turn with the 6 river keeping Ivey's pair best to hand him the knockout.

Foxen Bets Into Trips

The three players checked the 10JJ flop to see the 7 come on the turn. The big blind checked, and Foxen put out a delayed continuation-bet of 1,900. Only the button called.

The river was the 6, and Foxen bet again for 6,200. The button quickly called and turned over J8 for trip jacks to win the pot.

Early position checked again, and Engel fired out a bet of 19,000. Early position took some time to think through his decision, before eventually giving up his hand.

When the J completed the board on the river, Millard checked once more and was faced with a bet of 50,000, which covered him. After about a minute, he tossed his cards into the muck.
